RESIDENT SERVICES MANAGER

Harmony Court Estate Residence
Job Type: Full Time (Tuesday through Saturday)
Start Date: Immediately 

Harmony Court Estate is expanding our team as part of our ongoing improvements offered to our Seniors residing in our Estates.

 We are seeking a professional, dedicated and energetic individual with RN/LPN experience to join our team as the first contact for Estate Residents and their families regarding basic care and residency. 

The Resident Services Manager will provide functional supervision and mentorship to the Estate Reception team and be a liaison for the night Resident Caretakers as required.

Reporting directly to the General Manager you will work with our Retirement Living Coordinator to assess the suitability of prospective residents based on our independent living retirement criteria.

You will act as first responder for the occasional Estate Resident emergency with main responsibility of daily interaction with Estate Residents and staff to ensure a high hospitality focus regarding Resident overall quality of Estate living within a professional but relaxing, fun, and safe environment. Experience in providing and coordinating appropriate services for the changing needs of our Residents would be an asset.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth facilitation/transition of new residents and move-outsConduct regular follow-up with Estate Residents through daily interactions and regularly scheduled meetingsRespond and handle all Resident/family concerns Act as first responder for occasional medical emergencies (not ongoing or continuing medical care)Functionally supervise the Reception team and maintain regular contact with night caretaker positions
  • Various administration and projects for Estate initiatives as required

 The preferred successful candidate will have worked as an RN or LPN in a Senior’s environment and have demonstrated successful supervisory skills. 

Experience in a same or similar role in a Senior’s housing or hospitality setting is a definite asset. Strong organizational and excellent communication skills with varying levels of staff and demographics are required.   Please submit cover letter, resume, and salary expectations.
